Happy New Year to you all! Have you made some new years resolutions yet? Because we have! Because our homes have been seeing even more of us than ever before, the time has come when we give them the attention they deserve. We want to kick start those projects that have been at the back of our minds for a while.
Since 2005 we have thrived on creating homes that are intimately connected to our clients, enhance everyday life and achieve that balance between style and functionality. We believe that your home should tell your story, so in 2021 let's begin your journey...
When I reflect on 2020, and think again about what inspired me that year it was very much about going back to basics and appreciating what was on my doorstep; The great Scottish palaces and castles and the nature surrounding them. And that's what I'm taking into 2021: The essence of the world around us, reflected in the colours, patterns and materials we use, creating looks that are Inspirational - Timeless - Seamless.
Starting with January, our Home Decorating and Styling Sale is on and you can grab yourself a bargain until the end of the month. While our doors won't be open to welcome you as we'd hoped, we will ensure to give you the best service we can until the restrictions end. One member of the team will be is in the shop every day between 12 and 4pm for Click & Collect orders and courier dispatches, so you can get your orders delivered in no time!
We are also keeping ourselves busy behind the scenes with our interior design projects, planning online events (we welcome your suggestions!) and getting on with a shop makeover...something inspirational! You'll just have to wait and see...
January is also the time when we revisit our collections. Start the selection, narrow down the options, think about what would would complement previous collections, challenge ourselves and each other. This is such an exciting time of year for a designer! During #lockdown1 we sourced and became the exclusive Scottish stockist of Graphenstone paint, the "healthiest" and most sustainable paint you can use. Every stage of a product's life is examined when we put our collections together, from from raw materials and production to transportation and and packaging. We insist on products being environmentally friendly but also focus on longevity as the ultimate way of lowering waste, pollution and energy consumption.
So, this time round, I wonder what exciting discoveries are out there for us in #lockdown2...
